Painting of pub life

Following on from recent work, this study of pub life tries to capture what seems to be a declining subject.

I love the way pubs can be lively and cosy, with all sorts of charcters and interactions. It’s much more a representation of traditional pub life. It’s crowded. The lighting is dim and I tried to hint at the noise and bustle.
